Description

Marcus Chardonnay 2019 Domaine Buronfosse

Marcus Chardonnay 2019 is a natural white wine produced by Domaine Buronfosse. The grapes that make up the cuvée come from approximately 40-50 year old vines from just 0.56 hectares organically farmed. This interesting bottle comes from a plateau characterised by limestone marl, which gives the grapes great elegance and minerality. Manual harvesting is followed by spontaneous fermentation in wooden barrels; then the wine is aged for 9 months in full oak barrels (Ouillè) to avoid oxidation. The 2019 Marcus Chardonnay is an elegantly fruity and mineral wine, with a forthright, fresh and savoury palate.

DENOMINATION: Vin De France

REGION: Jura (France)

GRAPES: 100% Chardonnay.

VINIFICATION: Spontaneous fermentation in wooden barrels, maturation in full oak barrels for 9 months (Ouillè wines).
