Les Terrasses 2017 Alvaro Palacios
"Les Terrasses" 2017 is a Spanish red wine produced by Alvaro Palacios, from the Priorat appellation and is a blend of indigenous garnacha and samso, the local name for the carignano grape, from various vineyards in Catalonia, plus 20% of international cabernet sauvignon. This wine is produced according to the principles of organic farming, with great attention paid to each stage of production and respect for the terroir, whose characteristics it authentically reflects. It has a beautiful intense ruby red colour and a rich and complex nose of cherry jam, black fruits, oriental spices, white pepper and toasted hints. On the palate, the taste is enveloping and structured, with acidity and tannin present and a nice long liquorice finish.

GRAPES: garnacha 40%, samso 40%, cabernet sauvignon 20%.
VINIFICATION: The grapes are harvested by hand, from biodynamic agriculture. Fermentation in steel, cement and wooden barrels. Maturation for 12 months in French oak barrels, 80% of which are used. Bottling without filtration.
