Leirana Albarino 2019 is a white wine from Spain produced by Bodegas Forjas del Salnes. Leirana is made from 100% Albariño grapes that are part of the Rías Baixas appellation, the undisputed home of this grape variety. Forjas del Salnés is a small family winery that since 1995 has seen the collaboration of Rodrigo Méndez, a local expert, and Raúl Pérez, one of the most important oenologists in Spain, to create wines of great personality and very high quality. The grapes that make up this bottle come from 4 hectares of old vines, 40-70 years old, planted in sandy, granite soils. For this traditional production, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks. Once finished, the wine rests on its lees and is lightly filtered before being put on sale. Intense straw yellow in colour, it has a nose of white flowers, wild herbs and ripe fruit. The taste is fruity and tasty, fresh and well balanced.

Forjas de Salnés is a Spanish winery located in the region of Galicia, born in 2005 from the collaboration between Raúl Pérez and Rodri Méndez, with the aim of producing white wines from old Albariños vines and red wines from the region. Forjas del Salnés comprises a total of 12 hectares of vineyards, each parcel of which is vinified separately to respect all the characteristics of the terroir.
