"Is Solinas" is a Sardinian red wine produced by the Argiolas winery. Made from 100% Carignano grapes that come from bush-trained vines, it matures in French oak barrels. It is an important and structured red wine with an intense and intriguing nose of black fruit, liquorice, spices and aromatic herbs and a rich and soft, quite fresh and savoury, persistent sip.

Is Solinas Riserva 2014 Argiolas

Is Solinas is a Sardinian red wine produced by Argiolas. It is a great red wine that represents in an excellent way the terroir of Sardinia and enhances a great native vine such as Carignano. The grapes, harvested strictly by hand and carefully selected, are transported to the cellar and pressed. The must ferments in steel tanks, while the subsequent malolactic fermentation takes place in cement containers. The wine matures for about 12 months in barriques and concludes its period of refinement with a short rest in bottles before being put on the market. Deep ruby red in colour, the Is Solinas 2014 from Argiolas expresses an intense and complex nose of black fruit, liquorice, spices and herbs. The taste is soft and structured, with good freshness and long sapidity. A great red wine, warm and enveloping, intense and harmonious, which authentically represents its terroir of origin.
