Gewurztraminer Terminum Vendemmia Tardiva 2016 is a sweet wine from Trentino Alto Adige produced by Cantina Tramin. It is made from Gewurztraminer grapes grown in the vineyards of Sella, a village above Tramin, at an altitude of between 400 and 500 metres above sea level with a south-eastern exposure, on clay and gravel soils.

The grapes are harvested in December when they are over-ripe, in order to favour a greater concentration of sugars and the development of noble rot. After pressing, maceration takes place for 12 hours, followed by fermentation and maturation in French oak barriques.

The Gewurztraminer Terminum Vendemmia Tardiva 2016 of Tramin shows a brilliant golden yellow colour in the glass. The nose offers intense aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit and white flowers, with sweet nuances of honey and cinnamon. On the palate, the taste is soft, round and enveloping. The finish is persistent, elegant and harmonious.
