Gevrey Chambertin La Croix Des Champs 2015 Thibault Liger Belair

Thibault Liger Belair's 2015 Gevrey Chambertin La Croix Des Champs is a red Burgundy wine. It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from a plot is 0.2 hectares located on the east side of Gevrey-Chambertin, on deep clay and silt soils and limestone subsoils. The grapes are harvested by hand with 50% whole bunches, fermentation lasts 3 weeks with a very light extraction, while ageing takes place in 40% new oak barrels for 20 months. The nose expresses mouth-watering notes of red cherry and strawberry here, while the sip is medium-bodied with intense tannin, a nice balance and a savoury note on the finish.
