Gevrey Chambertin Clos St Jacques 1er Cru 2017 is a fine French Burgundy wine, produced by Domaine Bruno Clair. The Pinot Noir grapes come from the prestigious Premier Cru St Jacques vineyard, and it is a Gevrey Chambertin of a classic mold, very refined and elegant. At sight it shows a very lively and bright ruby red color; the nose expresses a complex bouquet with marked wooden notes on a background of currant and raspberry, delicate rose petals and tobacco notes. In the mouth it is savory and fresh, but at the same time soft, with silky and fine tannins. Suitable for aging, it needs a few years to express itself to the best of its ability.
