This Crémant de Bourgogne Rosé Extra Brut 2017 is a Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Dominique Gruhier. This bottle of French bubbles is part of that category of classic method sparkling wines that are not produced in the Champagne region, but in 7 regions including Burgundy, and are part of the Crémant de Bourgogne appellation. In its range of premium products, Gruhier is also dedicated to the production of this wine, which is made from 100% Pinot Noir. Maceration takes place for 10 days before pressing, while fermentation lasts 25 days. The wine matures for 9 months in vats and ages for another 18 months in bottles on its own yeasts, while the dosage is 4.5 g/L. This 2017 Crémant de Bourgogne Rosé Extra Brut has a salmon pink colour with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose gives fruity and brioche aromas, for a structured yet fresh and elegant sip.

Domaine Gruhier is based in the charming Abbey of Quincy, located in the French valleys of Epineuil. Today, the estate consists of 28 hectares of land distributed between the territories of Chablis and Epineuil, cultivated according to organic farming principles, working in a way that supports the timing and natural characteristics of the grapes. Gruhier's wines range from wines such as Bourgogne Epineuil and Bourgogne Tonnerre, but above all great Chablis to which are added Cremant de Bourgogne both white and rosé, sparkling blends of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes of great class and drinkability.
