Chardonnay 2020 is a white wine from Friuli Venezia Giulia produced by Meroi winery. This international grape has found an ideal habitat in the Friuli territory, where the characteristic ponca gives a lot of minerality to wines. This wine ages for 11 months in used oak casks, and it is a powerful Chardonnay balanced by a good dose of crispness and minerality. It shows in the glass an intense straw yellow color, with warm reflections. The nose is initially characterized by hints of yellow fruit, to which are added hints of ripe citrus fruits and mineral salts. The palate is powerful, soft but balanced by a nice harmony between freshness and sapidity. Very persistent.
