Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru 2018 is a red wine from Burgundy produced by Domaine Bruno Clair. The Pinot Noir grapes come from a highly prized terroir: the small Clos de Beze Grand Cru vineyard, just 0.9 ha in size, of which two-thirds of the vineyard was planted in 1912, and one-third in 1972. The upper part is composed by a poorer soil with a high stony component, which gives elegance to wines, whereas the lower part is clayey giving richness and structure to them. The result is a wine which blends finesse and structure, delicacy and complexity, a bottle of extraordinary character which identifies the style and the skill of this producer from Bourgogne. Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru 2018 shows an intense ruby red color, the nose offers classic aromas of red fruits such as blackberry, cherry and blueberry, hints of aromatic herbs and hints of minerals and limestone. In the mouth has a silky tannin, rich and structured but at the same time elegant and endowed with great freshness. Long sip and great aging capabilities for this wonderful wine with character.
