Brunello di Montalcino Ugolforte 2016 Tenuta San Giorgio
Brunello di Montalcino Ugolforte 2016 is a Tuscan red wine produced by Tenuta San Giorgio. It is made from the best grapes from the vineyards of Castelnuovo dell'Abate, fermented in large steel tanks, remaining in contact with the skins and the must for a long time, while ageing takes place in first and second passage barriques for twelve months followed by a further two years in large Slavonian oak casks.
The Brunello di Montalcino Ugolforte 2016 is an important and structured wine: dark ruby red in colour with garnet highlights, on the nose it expresses a broad bouquet of jammy fruit, cherry and plum, and then mint and toasted hints of tobacco and cocoa. In the mouth it is balanced and enveloping, at the same time rich and structured, with a spicy note and a long persistence.
