Description

Barolo Riserva Rocche Villero Magnum 2005

Barolo Riserva Rocche Villero Magnum 2005 is a fine wine from Piedmont produced by Brovia. It is made from 100% hand-picked Nebbiolo grapes in Castiglione Falletto, a top cru of Barolo. This limited edition Barolo magnum is produced by blending two plots, Rocche and Villero, and is a Barolo of great elegance and balance, precisely because the grapes come from two very suitable terroirs with different characteristics. It is aged for 24 months in medium-sized French oak barrels, without filtering at bottling. Deep garnet red in colour, it expresses hints of dark berry fruit, camphor, tobacco and leather. The palate is rich and structured, with good freshness, soft and elegant tannins and a long tasty finish.
