Barolo Riserva Rocche dell'Annunziata 2015 Lorenzo Accomasso
Lorenzo Accomasso's wines are not repeatable and are simply unique. The way he interprets the commune of La Morra, and more specifically Annunziata, is something extraordinary.
A great tradition of Langa in the glass with a touch of magic and genius that is never missing in his wines. The Rocche dell'Annunziata vineyard, from which this Barolo Riserva derives, is the most important and famous in the commune of La Morra.
The style of this legendary Barolo is defined by long macerations and ageing in large oak barrels for at least five years. Lorenzo Accomasso interprets the 2005 vintage in a masterly way with this Barolo that is ready to challenge the future.
The wine is ruby red in colour with evident garnet highlights. The nose is bewitching and evident notes of dried flowers complete a typically "baroque" olfactory spectrum. Tobacco, spices, endless balsamicity.
A great Barolo, a great expression of Langa.
