Barolo La Serra 2016 Marcarini
Barolo La Serra 2016 is a fine wine produced by Marcarini. The grapes come from the homonymous vineyard whose soils, poor in organic substances, but rich in minerals and trace elements, are capable of giving wines of good color, good structure, sapid and never excessively tannic. The particular microclimate is characterized by light ventilation with fresh and dry air movements. Controlled fermentation together with maceration takes place for about 4 weeks, after and after malolactic fermentation the wine ages for at least two years in medium-sized oak barrels (20/40 hectoliters). Barolo La Serra 2016 shows a bright garnet red color; the nose is floral and spicy with aromas of roses, violets, licorice, sweet spices. In the mouth it is intense, fresh and persistent.
