Barbaresco 2009 San Cristoforo Elio Filippino

Barbaresco 2009 San Cristoforo is a red wine from Piedmont produced by Elio Filippino.

It is produced with Nebbiolo grapes from the 'San Cristoforo' vineyards on the Serra Capelli hill in Neive. The new wine is put into large Slavonian oak casks of 25 and 30 hl for 15-18 months. It is then bottled and left to age for at least 10-12 months before leaving the cellar.

The wine is an intense garnet red colour with orange reflections that reflect the passing of time. Its bouquet is fruity with hints of grapes and raspberries.
