Arbois Trousseau "La Vigne Du Louis" 2022 Michel Gahier

This fine Trousseau "La Vigne Du Louis" comes to us from the talented producer Michel Gahier, located in the small town of Arbois in the Jura region. The grapes come from centuries-old vineyards located in the municipality of Montigny-lès-Arsures, managed according to the principles of organic farming.

The vineyard faces north-west, an ideal condition for obtaining a Trousseau with a finer and brighter character. After destemming, maceration takes place for about a month with pumping over. The wine then matures in fudri and barriques and is bottled without filtration.

The result is a brilliant ruby red wine. The nose reveals aromas of small red fruits, leather and pepper. In the mouth it is fresh and sapid with silky tannins and a finish with pleasant cherry notes. A great red for red meat and game.
