Domaine Ca Boit Libre's Ton Rouge du Lac Pinot Noir 2020 is a dry red wine produced in the Savoie region of France using grapes of the Pinot Noir variety. These grapes are grown in vineyards located on steep slopes at an altitude between 400 and 500 meters above sea level, on clay and limestone soils characteristic of the Alpine region.
The grapes are grown according to the principles of organic farming, which involves the use of natural techniques to maintain soil and plant health, without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The grapes are hand-picked in small crates to preserve the integrity of the fruit and immediately transported to the winery for vinification.
The winemaking process for Ton Rouge du Lac Pinot Noir 2020 involves fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Afterwards, the wine is matured in oak barrels for about 12 months to give it greater aromatic complexity.
