Antinori Vino Nobile di Montepulciano la Braccesca 2014
Antinori's Vino Nobile di Montepulciano La Braccesca 2014 is produced from two grapes from two different terroirs: the 90% Sangiovese grape variety from the Montepulciano area, and 10% merlot from Cortona’s hills. It is aged for 14 months in barriques and large wooden barrels, finished by a year of aging in bottle and presents all the structure and character typical of the Tuscan grape variety but with the present of Merlot which makes it smoother.
The color is ruby red with garnet reflections, the nose is pervaded by hints of ripe red fruit, violet and tobacco, enriched by an intense aromatic kit that is found in the mouth, where the structure of the wine is compensated by a deep tannin but velvety. The wine is perfectly balanced, an interesting version of Sangiovese.
