Le Tourbillon De La Vie Blanche 2018 Jean Philippe Padié
Le Tourbillon De La Vie Blanche 2018 is a French natural wine from the Languedoc-Roussilon region produced by the Jean Philippe Padié . "The joust of life" is the name of this white Vin de France made from 100% Macabeo grapes from real plots located in the Agly valley, on a clay-limestone granite ground. A fresh and playful wine, immediate, with intense aroma where the fruit is the main protagonist, followed by fresh hints of aromatic herbs and mineral salts. The company is located in Calce, in the Valle dell'Agly, where the terroir is very suitable for the cultivation of vines as the heat of the Catalan hinterland is mitigated by the marine influence and the energy of the winds. Jean Philippe Padié speaks with love of his land, of his wines, where the native vines are the protagonists together with a careful viticulture that follows the principles of Biodynamics. Le Tourbillon De La Vie Blanche fully reflects the terroir of Languedoc-Roussilon for its marked aromaticity. Based only on Macabeo grapes from different plots, it is straw-yellow in color, with fruity hints of apricot and grapefruit on the nose that turn on a background of fresh mint and mineral salts. In the mouth it is fresh and gritty, with notes of aromatic herbs such as oregano, and a finish of sweet almond. A direct and playful Vin de France, an invitation to enjoy life in its immediacy, excellent to drink immediately, perhaps combined with vegetable appetizers or fish-based main courses.
