L'Hermitage Blanc 2019 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave
Domaine Jean-Louis Chave's Hermitage Blanc 2019 is an exceptional white wine from the northern Rhône region produced by one of the area's leading names. It is made from a blend of 85% Marsanne, a grape that gives the wine structure and power, and 15% Roussanne grapes, which instead give elegance and spiciness.
Vinification is traditional, this wine ferments in oak barrels and matures in barriques for 24 months. Chave is keen to emphasise all the characteristics of the different plots from which the grapes come, which must stand out in the wine but at the same time allow for great balance. This is how jean-Louis Chave's L'Hermitage Blanc 2019 expresses the elegance and sapidity of the more chalky plots with the structure and fruit of the clays, for an incredible harmony.
The Blanc Hermitage 2019 from Domaine Jean-Louis Chave expresses an intense straw colour, while the nose expresses aromas of honey, peach, apricot and dried fruit. The sip is soft and velvety but at the same time endowed with excellent freshness and savouriness.
