Bouzy Rouge Coteaux Champenois 2015 Paul Bara
Paul Bara's Bouzy Rouge Coteaux Champenois 2015 is a red wine produced in the Champagne region. It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes and is only produced in the best vintages from some of the best sites in Bouzy.
Of the total 11 hectares of vines owned by Bara, only 3 are considered suitable for the production of red wines, i.e. the areas where the grapes can ripen best and allow an adequate amount of sugars and aromas. The grapes are carefully picked and selected by hand, and come from vines over 50 years old.
The wine ferments and matures in stainless steel tanks where it also undergoes natural malolactic fermentation. It is then bottled and left to age for a few months in the bottle before being released for sale.
Paul Bara's 2015 Bouzy Rouge Coteaux Champenois is a very elegant red that expresses a bouquet of red fruits, flowers and vegetal notes. The sip is fresh, taut and balanced.
