Chablis Grand Cru Valmur 2017 Droin
A Chablis Grand Cru Valmur 2017 is a Burgundy white wine produced by Domaine Droin. The Chardonnay grapes come from a terroir, like that of Valmur, characterised by an important climate and a soil rich in mineral salts. This gives the wine an austerity and moderation that characterise the great wines of Chablis. The bouquet is composed of hints of yellow flesh fruit, which in warmer years evolve towards jam, candied fruit and quince. In cooler vintages, on the other hand, there are more floral notes such as hawthorn. It is a wine with a great ageing potential, in 10 years it will be able to express itself at its best.

GRAPES: 100% Chardonnay
VINIFICATION: pneumatic pressing, fermentation with indigenous yeasts partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in barriques, malolactic fermentation then blending after 8-10 months. Ageing if necessary, light filtration and bottling.
