Valbuena 5° Ribera del Duero DOCa 2010 Vega Sicilia
Valbuena 5° Ribera del Duero DOCa 2010 by Vega Sicilia is a vinous masterpiece from Spain, crafted solely from Tempranillo. The vineyards, nestled in Castilla y León, boast limestone and marl soils, imparting a unique character to the wine.
Situated near the Duero River, the vineyards thrive on gravel and limestone soils.
Carefully selected grapes undergo pressing and fermentation in small and large wooden vats at controlled temperatures post-harvest. This is followed by months of maturation on fine lees before final racking.
In the glass, Valbuena 5° reveals a dense ruby-red color, with garnet hues at the edges. Aromas of red and black fruits, underbrush, and mineral notes tantalize the nose. On the palate, it unveils a velvety, dense texture, with a persistent finish enriched by mineral nuances. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by five years of aging in wood and bottle.
Valbuena 5° Ribera del Duero by Vega Sicilia is a refined expression of Spanish terroir and winemaking artistry.
