Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Clos de la Chatenière 2019 Hubert Lamy
The 2019 Saint Aubin Premier Cru Clos de la Chatenière is a fine Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Hubert Lamy. The Chardonnay grapes come from 40-year-old vines that sit on shallow, pebble-rich limestone soil with a southern exposure and 40% slope at 280-300m altitude.
The fermentation takes place spontaneously for 90 days in 300l and 600l barrels with temperature control, followed by aging for 12 months in 300l and 600l barrels.
Domaine Hubert Lamy's Saint-Aubin 1er Cru "Clos de la Chatenière 2019" expresses an intense golden yellow color in the glass, while the nose expresses a complex bouquet made of hints of yellow fruit, honey and vanilla. The sip is deep and mineral.
