Rosso di Montalcino 2018 is an Italian red wine produced in Tuscany by Fattoi. The company is a reference for the production of Montalcino wines, as in the case of this Rosso di Montalcino, produced from the same Sangiovese Grosso grapes in purity as Brunello but considered its younger brother, not for less quality or diversity of character, but greater simplicity and smoothness. The grapes come from vineyards located south of Montalcino, located 350 meters above sea level. Rosso di Montalcino 2018 Fattoi has a bright ruby red color, with a pleasant and mainly fruity nose, with hints of cherry, morello cherry and red fruits. The mouth is medium-bodied, dry and fresh, with a beautiful persistence. Ideal in combination with grilled red meats, whose succulence can be well balanced with the freshness of this wine.
