Poully Fume Les Lumeaux 2018 Philippe Raimbault

Poully Fume Les Lumeaux 2018 is a French wine from the Loire region produced by Philippe Raimbault. The Sauvignon grapes from which this wine is made take on the natural characteristics of the calcareous-clayey terroir from which they come, rich in "caillotes" (chalky gravelly soil) and favoured by an excellent south-east exposure. Straw yellow in colour, the 2018 Pouilly Fume Les Lumeaux has a typically mineral nose, along with aromas of hay and citrus fruits, particularly lemon peel. The sip is intense and precise, fully expressing the terroir of origin.
