Coteaux Champenoise Rouge Les Grêves Millésime 2016 Salmon
Completing the Champagne range of the young and talented Alexandre Salmon, at the helm of the company's third family generation, is the Coteaux Champenoise Rouge 'Les Grêves Millésime', a still red wine produced in the Champagne region. This wine is a cuvée of 50% Pinot Noir aged in oak barrels and 50% Pinot Meunier aged in stainless steel vats.
Coteaux Champenois Rouge "Les Grêves Millésime" 2016 from Salmon expresses a ruby red colour with intense purple hues to the eye. The nose opens with fruity notes of blackcurrant berries, red fruits and fresh citrus fruits.
The sip is light and fruity, true to the nose and slightly tannic, with the partial barrel ageing adding spicy notes that blend well with the rest.
