Chassagne Montrachet Vieilles Vignes Rouge 2019 Guy Amiot
Chassagne Montrachet Vieilles Vignes Rouge 2019 is a red wine produced by Domaine Amiot, obtained from old Pinot Noir vines of about 45 years that grow on a clay and limestone terroir. The yields are very low and this allows for a high aromatic concentration in the wines and an intense minerality.
For the production of this label, as for all the others of the Domaine Guy Amiot, great attention is paid to respecting the terroir and achieving the highest quality of the grapes.
After fermentation, the wine ages for about 18 months in French oak barriques. Chassagne Montrachet Vieilles Vignes Rouge 2019 expresses an intense ruby red color to the eye. The nose is refined with aromas of small berries and a light spicy note. The sip has a particular aromatic intensity, medium body and well integrated tannin.
