Champagne Les Premices Egly-Ouriet
Champagne "Les Premices" is a fine wine produced by Egly-Ouriet. It is a sparkling wine made from a blend of three classic Champagne grape varieties from vineyards over 40 years old in the village of Trigny: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, each of which gives its own characteristics and harmony to the cuvée.
The Egly-Ouriet vineyards are worked without the use of chemicals, while in the cellar all fermentation of the base wines takes place spontaneously, with at least 3 years of ageing on the lees and a dosage of 2 g/l.
"Les Premices Champagne has a beautiful, luminous straw yellow colour and a fine, persistent perlage. The bouquet is complex but precise, offering sweet aromas of acacia honey and more pungent aromas of chalk and minerals, together with small red fruits and herbs. The palate is beautifully balanced between softness and freshness.

GRAPE VARIETIES: Pinot Noir 58%, Chardonnay 42%.
VINIFICATION: First fermentation in barrique with indigenous yeasts and re-fermentation in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method, maturation for at least 48 months on the lees.
