Description

Champagne Illustration #4 Grand Cru Brut Nature Paul Launois

Champagne Illustration #4 by Paul Launois is a Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru produced in Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the prestigious Côte des Blancs, the heart of Chardonnay. Its low dosage ("Brut Nature") allows the wine to freely express the finesse of aromas and the identity of the terroir.

The Illustration cuvée stands out for its uniqueness, a blend of wood and minerality. The chalky terroir and oak wood unveil a distinctive aromatic potential: toasty and salty notes. The vineyards have been in the family for generations, with Launois historically being a Récoltant-Coopérateur, selling bottles to the cooperative. In 2013, Julien Launois and his wife Sarah embarked on their adventure, renovating a building in Le Mesnil sur Oger.

They vinify with passion in steel and wood, experimenting and creating "Champagne Paul Launois," a story of love and dedication to viticulture and art.
