Champagne Bulle de Comptoir #9 Tradition Charles Dufour
The Bulle de Comptoir #9 Tradition is a Champagne produced by Charles Dufour with certified organic and non-certified biodynamic methods, an aspect strongly desired by Charles in order to produce Champagne that would authentically express the terroir of origin.
This label is the result of years of experimentation in the vineyard and cellar, and is made from a higher proportion of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and a small proportion of Pinot Blanc, from a 2018 harvest base at 85% plus reserve wines from the 2010 vintage (the year the winery received organic certification), and 2017.
This Bulle de Comptoir #9 is a Champagne of great tension and character: it expresses on the nose an interesting and layered bouquet composed of woody scents and chestnut honey, while the sip is well balanced by mineral richness and freshness, in a beautiful depth that ends in a long finish.
