Barolo Villero 2015 Giuseppe Mascarello
Barolo "Villero" 2015 is a fine wine from Piedmont produced by Giuseppe Mascarello. The Nebbiolo grapes come from the Cru of the same name, located in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto. This vineyard became property of the Mascarello family in 1985 and the Nebbiolo vines were planted a few years later, in 1988.
Traditional fermentation lasts from 16 to 22 days. Aging is also traditional and takes place in medium sized Slavonian oak barrels. The aging lasts about 30 months, in fact, the bottle will be commercialized after 4 years from harvesting.
Giuseppe Mascarello Barolo "Villero" 2015 has a beautiful garnet red color. The nose gives complex red fruit and floral aromas of violet and rose, against a background of refreshing spices. The sip is distinctive, with great elegance and a balance between richness and freshness and savoriness. Long and persistent finish.
