Anjou Les Terres Blanches 2014 Stéphane Bernardeau
Anjou Les Terres Blanches 2014 is a white wine from the Loire Valley produced using natural methods by Stèphane Bernardeau. It is an unobtainable fine wine, produced in limited quantities and according to strict biodynamic farming criteria with which Stéphane works his 2½-hectare vineyard in the Anjou-Saumur area.
The Domaine's focus is on expressing through its wines the different terroirs and grapes of the area, far from any standardisation. These are unconventional wines with an ancient flavour, pure and unique, such as this Anjou Les Terres Blanches 2014: a pure Chenin Blanc white of great elegance, characterised by a present but well-balanced minerality.
To the eye, L'Anjou Terres Blanches 2014 expresses a luminous straw yellow colour with golden reflections, while the refined nose is composed of hints of ripe yellow fruit such as pear and apple, mineral salts, floral and citrus notes. The palate is fresh and savoury on entry, but after a while it releases more plumpness and creaminess and closes with a long, harmonious finish.
