Varron Savagnin 2018 Domaine Buronfosse

Varron Savagnin 2018 is a natural wine produced by Domaine Buronfosse. It is made from 100% Savagnin grapes, sourced from vines grown on soils of Bajocian origin with a predominance of red marl on limestone sheets. Soft pressing of the grapes is followed by static decantation for 24 hours before the grapes are gently pressed. The must ferments and ages in used barriques for about 30 months. Varron is a rich, intensely deep and complex Savagnin. The nose is centred on a mouth-watering fruit for a rich and consistent sip but balanced by a lovely freshness.
