ZAMPAGLIONE PIERLUIGI

_____

Historic cereal company of Upper Irpinia. After the conversion to organic, undertaken 20 years ago, among the first in the South, and the development of the agritourism activity, it has invested, with the support of the new generation, to bring its wine potential back to production.

A single grape variety: Fiano grown in the high hills (about 800 meters) on poor soils. Already in 800 the Fiano was cultivated near Calitri with the name Santa Sofia. Production was considered quantitatively modest but qualitatively high.

The company, as is traditional, is managed directly by the property, the manager is Pierluigi Zampaglione.

An arduous challenge with the sole objective of interpreting the character of an extreme territory and an incredible grape variety at its best.

From this "bold" challenge comes the Don Quixote, a Fiano with long macerations on the skins, indigenous yeasts, unfiltered.
