VIE DI ROMANS

Vie di Romans is a historic and important Friulian winery, recognised not only in Italy but also abroad. It has been owned by the Gallo family since the early 1900s and since 1978 it has been managed by Gianfranco Gallo, who with passion, dedication and courageous choices has developed a unique and personal style of quality.

The winery has a total of 60 hectares under vine, and the yields in the vineyard are very low to allow maximum quality and concentration of the grapes. Mainly white grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Tocai and Friulano are cultivated, but there is also a small percentage of Merlot-based reds.

The Friuli winery was also one of the first to give importance to the wine produced from a single vineyard, in order to bring out the best of all the characteristics of the different terroirs in the area.

It is thanks to all these aspects that Vie di Romans has today become a true reference point on the Italian wine scene, a guarantee of unprecedented quality.
