GIUSEPPE PRINCIPIANO

_________________

Francesco, with his father Giuseppe and his sister Monica, represents one of those realities of the enomondo that make us say how much there is still to be discovered going beyond hyper producers present on social media or fair-minded parsons.

The Principiano family is a hundred percent Langarola family in the best sense of the term: a lot of work in the vineyard (they still tie with the tendrils, to name one), traditional production, wines that faithfully reflect the territory and the vintages, humility and sense of belonging, all protected from the spotlight. Just taste - hosted by the two brothers at the same time very warm and free of frills - jewelry like their Barolo Boscareto, or at the other end of the production range, the sensational Dolcetto Gerame, to understand that we are facing a manual Langa.

The 8 hectares are located in different parcels between Monforte and Serralunga, between 250 and 400 mslm, many of them characterized by large slopes that require manual processing. The most important cru, the Boscareto, with very favorable exposures, is located in the woods - as the name itself says - and a stream, and is a joy for the eyes.
