Description

Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2016 Raveneau

Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2016 is a fine French wine produced by Raveneau. The Chablis of this celebrated company are wines that cannot be found both because the vineyards are all exclusively 1er Cru and Grand Cru, and for their priceless quality and value: they require years of aging before they can fully express the incredible complexity and logevity of which they are equipped. After 8-10 years these wines not only acquire greater richness and structure on the farm but reveal new layers of aromas and flavors.

Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2016 is made with grapes that come from the Grand Cru Les Clos vineyard of just 0.5 hectares: with a bright color, the nose slowly unfolds with fresh notes of lemon oil, spring wildflowers and mineral notes . Over time, this wine will complete its refined bouquet enriching it with fruity aromas. The sip is powerful, full-bodied and deep, buttery softness blends perfectly with the acidity for a sublime balance that ends in a savory and extremely long finish. A rare treasure to forget in the cellar for a few years, it goes well with structured fish dishes based on seafood, crab and lobster.
