Margaux 2012 Chateau Brane Cantenac
Chateau Brane Cantenac's Margaux is a fine red wine produced in the Médoc region of northwest Bordeaux, France. The grapes used for its production are mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, grown in vineyards located on the Estate's gravel and gravel-sand soils.
The grapes are grown using sustainable farming techniques that prioritize the preservation of biodiversity and the reduction of environmental impact. In particular, the Brane Cantenac Estate is committed to integrated vine disease management, using only natural and organic products for plant defense.
Chateau Brane Cantenac's production philosophy is based on a balance between tradition and innovation, with the aim of preserving the identity and quality of the terroir. After harvesting, the grapes are gently crushed and undergo fermentation in stainless steel, with skin maceration lasting about three weeks. The resulting wine is then aged in French oak barrels for about 18 months before being bottled.
The result is a red wine of great elegance and complexity, characterized by a deep ruby red color and an aromatic bouquet of red fruit, spices, toasted notes and hints of tobacco. The palate is distinguished by its tannic structure, balanced by a pleasant softness and a long aromatic persistence.
