SIMON BIZE
Simon Bize & Fils, founded in 1880 in Savigny-lès-Beaune, is one of Burgundy’s most respected and traditional domaines. Now led by Chisa Bize, the estate embodies five generations of viticultural passion, combining craftsmanship, terroir expression, and minimal intervention winemaking.
The domaine cultivates around 25 hectares of vineyards spread across Savigny, Beaune, and Aloxe-Corton, with a focus on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown on varied soils of limestone, red clay, gravel, and marl.
The portfolio includes prestigious Grand Crus like Corton-Charlemagne and Latricières-Chambertin, as well as numerous top-tier Premier Cru sites: Aux Vergelesses, Les Serpentières, Les Talmettes, Les Fournaux, and more.
Red wines such as Aux Grands Liards are structured and age-worthy, while the white wines – introduced in 1996 – like Les Champlains and Les Perrières, are mineral, vibrant, and precise. Winemaking is natural and respectful: spontaneous fermentation, whole-cluster vinification, limited new oak, and aging in deep cellars.
Simon Bize & Fils stands as a benchmark for elegant, terroir-reflective Burgundy wines sought after by collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.
