Restaurant Gaudenzio in the centre of Turin by Emanuele Spagnuolo 07/09/2018
We had been missing for quite a while from this restaurant which had just opened up, it seemed a bit confusing in the setting and forced into some details of the service. Now it's all a different thing. More centered in price, service and details of dishes.
Local beautiful, modern, minimal, but warm and not anonymous. Very solid cuisine with good quality raw material. In the hall Stefano is a good and competent landlord.
We order a cicchetto, a first, a second and a dessert.
The dishes flow fast, efficient service, wines offered by the glass good, more or less particular, but the glass that amazes you there is always.
Fish really good and the dishes are balanced and fun in combinations.
It's a restaurant that makes the experience of playful the strong point, maybe you have to let yourself be guided by Stefano, but at the end of the evening you'll have fun and spent 50-60 € each.
I recommend it when you want to spend a nice evening in an area of Turin where stands out the Mole, the university and now Gaudenzio. A corner of modernity and modern spirit in that of Turin.
