Ristorante La Madernassa in Guarene by Emanuele Spagnuolo 15/08/2018
Second time in this star restaurant (1 star Michelin) and it seems to us that we have made progress. From appetizers to desserts excellent level of cuisine with well-balanced combinations. Service in the dining room and a special mention to the sommelier always very kind and prepared even if the wine list has a bit 'of gaps in a restaurant that wants to grow yet you should try to cover (few interesting champagne, almost absent Burgundy high level or areas like Jura and Roussillon on the rise ...). Number of plates in elevated paper and presence of two tasting menus.
Prices on average high, especially the latter that are positioned on prices from two Michelin stars and almost beyond. A little too much.
Overall a good experience even if something is still missing that really triggers the spark to live a more complete experience.
Taking a wine tasting route proposed by the sommelier and choosing a card we spent about €15/each person.
To try again.
