Ristorante Casa Rapisarda in Numana by Emanuele Spagnuolo 19/07/2018
Alessandro Rapisarda has experience with Mauro Uliassi, Piazza Duomo and Povero Diavolo.
The restaurant opened a few months ago and so curious we decided to put the nose, even the palate to get a personal idea.
Let's start from the place that is in a slightly hidden street of Numana. Pretty and characteristic small village of the Marche half an hour from Ancona.
We were six and had dinner at a table not very lucky as a position, in front of the kitchen and the entrance.
The place is actually a bit small and the decor is a bit 'anonymous. But it is at the beginning and then we go to food, for now we are only interested in that. We took the small tasting menu from € 50 and added some other dishes. Raw materials are not discussed, from the mussels of Portonovo, to shrimps, to mullets. All high quality.
Some dishes of good quality, but a little 'uncoordinated tastes, others more successful.
Pero the pearl of the evening is a dish that will remain in my heart and head, because after so many important restaurants it is difficult to be astonished as: "Cappelletti ... in stock in August"
Cappelletti stuffed with parmigiana and a cold broth of aromatic herbs, tomato water and mozzarella. Cold cappelletti to take you directly to the moon, they were so good.
In my personal ranking one of the best dishes ever.
<>I believe that if a chef is able to make a dish, he will only grow.
Wine list for the moment too limited and without interesting tips.
To think maybe the relationship with the price of the menus 50 € for 5 small courses and 80 € for the main menu are prices from local star, but first you have to get there. Given the location I would have expected a price a bit 'lower, and then gradually rise with the recognition that will arrive for sure.
Good luck to Alessandro Rapisarda and all the brigade for a continuation of successes.
