Vin de Savoie Montée Furieuse 2020 Corentin Houillon
he 'Montée Furieuse' Vin de Savoie 2020 is a white wine produced by natural wine master Corentin Houillon in the French region of Savoie. It is made from the native Jacquere grape variety, cultivated according to biodynamic principles on shallow quartziferous soils. Harvesting is manual and fermentation is carried out using indigenous yeasts.
Vinification takes place 50% in demi-muids and 50% in vats and maturation on fine lees until bottling, which is done without the use of sulphites.
Corentin Houillon's 'Montée Furieuse' Vin de Savoie 2020 expresses an intense straw yellow colour to the eye, while the nose offers fresh aromas of white fruit, exotic fruit and light notes of aniseed. The sip is lively and forthright, reminiscent of the aromas on the nose; nice balance between fat on the palate and finish!
