Rosso Outsider 2003 Arnaldo Caprai
Arnaldo Caprai's Rosso Outsider, is made from Cabernet and Sauvignon grapes, the two international red grape varieties par excellence, grown in the lands of Montefalco in Umbria. The result is a wine of wide international scope, a real "Super Umbrian".
The Rosso Outsider Caprai is left to mature for 18 months in barriques and 8 months in bottles before being released on the market. It is a fine Umbrian wine that demonstrates all the skill and excellence to which Arnaldo Caprai, master of Montefalco wines, has accustomed us over the years.
The glass has a dark ruby red colour, with notes of evolved red fruit, tobacco, graphite and balsamic hints. In the mouth it is soft and fresh, balanced and persistent, a wine of great personality.
