Costa d'Amalfi Rosato 2020 Marisa Cuomo
Costa d'Amalfi Rosato 2020 is a Campania's rose wine produced by Marisa Cuomo. It is obtained by blending in equal parts two of the most important red berried grapes of the region: Piedirosso and Aglianico, the first one gives fruit and smoothness, the second one structure and tannin.
Together they give life to a bottle of great balance which fully reflects its terroir through its great crispness and sapidity, as the grapes grow on steep terraces supported by dry stone walls, exposed to the sea breezes of the Amalfi Coast, in particular in the Raito area in Vietri sul Mare.
Pale salmon pink in color with luminous reflections, it expresses an intense and elegant nose of ripe cherry, red currant, raspberry, wild strawberry, morello cherry, pomegranate, fragrant citrus nuances and wild herbs of the Mediterranean scrub. The taste is full bodied, fruity and slightly tannic with a pleasing crisp and sapid finish.

VINEYARDS: 50% Aglianico, 50% Piedirosso
VINIFICATION: fermentation for a few months in stainless steel.
