Sergio unfortunately passed away in 2000 and from that day the Montevertine estate was led by his son Martino, who continued his father's business while maintaining the values of tradition that have always been the flag of Montevertine.

Simplicity, respect and attention to every detail are the guide of every day, the vinification method is extremely traditional and has remained the same since the first vintages. The wines are never filtered and the bottling takes place by fall.

In the wines of Montevertine is enclosed the love for the Tuscan land and for its vineyards, the company over time has become a luminous interpreter of this extraordinary variety that is Sangiovese.
