DROUHIN-LAROZE

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze is a winery in Burgundy, established in 1850 in Gevrey-Chambertin which is located in the department by the hand of Jean-Baptiste Laroze. In 1919, Jean-Baptiste's granddaughter Suzanne married Alexandre Drouhin, and from that moment on the winery officially took the name Domaine Druohin-Laroze. The historical estate, located in the center of the commune and surrounded by a large stone wall, has today a total surface of 11.5 hectares (12.5 acres) of vineyards. The management of the vineyard as well as of the winery follows traditional and sustainable principles which are based on the highest respect for the terroir: yields are very limited and every production phase is monitored with the highest attention. All Druohin-Laroze wines are faithful expressions of their terroir of origin.
