DOMAINE MARC KREYDENWEISS

kreydenweiss Grandi Bottiglie Marc Kreydenweiss, natural wines from Alsazia

Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss is located in Andlau, Alsace, halfway between Strasbourg and Colmar, at the foot of the Vosges mountains, where the vineyards enjoy a continental climate and are planted on different types of terroir: Vosges pink sandstone (gc Wiebelsberg), black schist (gc Kastelberg), blue schist (Clos du Val d 'Eléon and Clos Rebberg), and marl-calcareous-sandstone (gc Moenchberg).

Marc Kreydenweiss is the founder of the company, and his son Antoine succeeded him in 2007, at the age of 26, driven by the same passion for wine and biodynamics as his father. Today, Antoine runs the estate together with his wife Charlotte, their daughters Zoé, Lilou and Léonie, the team and his horse Comtois, with the aim of producing wines with character that enhance the characteristics of each terroir.

The Domaine covers 13.5 hectares of vineyards, including the 3 grand crus of Andlau: Wiebelsberg, Moenchberg and Kastelberg. Another grand cru: Kirchberg de Barr has joined the diversified range of the estate. Vinification follows biodynamic viticultural principles, producing each wine according to natural rhythms. Around 120,000 bottles are produced each year.
