BOROLI

The Nebbiolo da Barolo vineyards, owned by the company, are located in three classic municipalities: Castiglione Falletto (Cascina La Brunella), Barolo (Borgata Cerequio) and La Morra (Cascina Sorello).

All Barolo production and refinement processes are concentrated in the winemaking and aging cellars at Cascina La Brunella, in the town of Castiglione Falletto, the heart of Barolo, in a very panoramic hilly position, at a height of 318 meters s.l.m.

In the area there are the most famous historical crus of Barolo and the approximately 10 hectares of land surrounding the farm are cultivated with Nebbiolo and Chardonnay.

In addition to the historic Cascina La Brunella, in 2006 a new cellar was inaugurated with very particular characteristics, which perfectly matched the tradition with modern construction technologies, in full respect of nature and the landscape.

The cru of the company are: Brunella (monopoly of Boroli), Villero, Cerequio and Serradenari.

The vineyards are between 10 and 40 years old; the vine-growing system is guyot, with a density of about 4,500 vines per hectare. The terroir varies from area to area and the altitude is between 300 and 450 meters s.l.m.
